Crosbie Dental has recently amalgamated with Dr. Malcolm Lindsey’s practice which has been providing high quality dental treatment for over 40 years in Wimpole and Upper Wimpole Street.
Rick Fitzgerald, BDS, NUI qualified in Dentistry from University College Cork in 1985 and Kings Hospital London in 1990.
He practiced in the UK until 1994 as associate for two years and subsequently owned and ran a multiple surgery practice. He returned to Ireland in 1994 when he purchased , built up and then sold on a dental practice in Co. Cork.
He returned to UK in 2009 and he recently completed the Diploma in Sports Dentistry in Eastman Hospital, London.
I take a keen in interest in Restorative and Surgical procedures. In October 2013 I traveled to Leuven, Belgium to partake in an Aesthetic Dentistry course. I have also completed numerous hands-on courses run at the LonDEC facility in central London including Periodontics, Prosthodontics, and Endodontics, as well as successfully completing the BLS and Medical Emergency course.
John Spillane graduated from University College Cork and moved to London to complete a year’s further training. He takes a keen in interest in Restorative and Surgical procedures and traveled to Belgium in 2013 to partake in an Aesthetic Dentistry course. He has also completed numerous courses at the LonDEC facility in central London including Periodontics, Prosthodontics, and Endodontics.
Simon studied dentistry at University College Cork, Ireland, where he won awards as an undergraduate. Upon graduation he completed his vocational training in Kent and then went on to work in a Maxillofacial surgery job in Guildford, Surrey. It was here he further developed his surgical skills and it is one of the aspects of practice he enjoys most.
He then returned to private general practice where he enjoys the variety and challenges each day brings. Simon prides himself on being a people person and treats all patients as individuals.
Further education has always been a desire of Simon’s and he is also currently completing an MSc in Primary Dental Care. Outside of dentistry Simon enjoys travelling, cooking and a variety of sports.
